simple choices, significant results

In twelve months Design Office consumes some 31 tonnes of paper. It takes around 17 trees per ton to make paper. Therefore by using the new recycled products the group has saved some 527 trees in just a year.

In addition energy usage for making recycled papers is reduced by 64% - this supports carbon reduction, water usage also being reduced by 50%.

Using FSC paper sourced only from managed forests approved by the Forest Stewardship Council guarantees that trees used are grown and felled responsibly. It also means the printed job can display the FSC logo to demonstrate your responsible environmental selection. We will provide advice on the best selection for each project.

using digital print to reduce waste

By utilising digital printing where ever suitable for low run projects such as business cards and tailored marketing, waste for make ready is significantly reduced to just 10% saving some 2128Kg of board being wasted each year or another 36 trees.
