“Pay for Placement SEO” is the ideal solution for two reasons:

High yield keywords - When a markets traffic is predominantly generated by one or a small number of specific keywords this model means you only pay when your site is ranking on the first page of the search engines (generally Google due to the higher
volumes of traffic produced).

Example - After extensive research it is found that 90% of the traffic in your market comes from the search “latest mens fashions” on the search engine Google. Instead of paying for every visitor we generate for your site, you just pay us once your site is on the first page of the Google search “latest mens fashions”.

Branding purposes - Often when a site does not sell products online (or sometimes even when they do), and an online presence is for branding and awareness purposes. Ranking well for a targeted specific keyword or multiple keywords can cement a companies dominance in that given market.
